Enviro-Point recruits Gavin McKechnie as Board Advisor in growth bid
Gavin McKechnie has joined Enviro-Point as Board Advisor, effective 1 August.
The experienced airport commercial executive, who ended his second spell with Abu Dhabi Airports Company (ADAC) at the end of June, joins in a non-executive director (Board Advisor) role to assist Enviro-Point and its parent company Luggage-Point drive penetration in new and existing markets.
Both firms will draw on McKechnie’s wealth of knowledge in aviation and retailing, particularly within airport operations and concession management and modelling, to help pivot, adapt and grow in the current punishing climate.
It is hoped that McKechnie’s extensive contacts will open up avenues for Enviro-Point’s products in new territories and retail settings.
“We are absolutely delighted to welcome Gavin to the team as Board Advisor,” commented Graeme Stewart, Director, Enviro-Point. “We believe that acquiring the services of a person of Gavin’s stature and experience demonstrates not only the ambition of our companies, but also the strength of our brand and service portfolio.”
Gavin McKechnie added: “I have joined the Board of Luggage-Point and Enviro-Point as an advisor initially, as I see an ambitious company with a good solid base from which to grow.
